It’s time to set sail on my first ever Coast* to Coast Adventure!
Starting Sunday April 21, I will head West with my good friends Josephine and her dog Tango. They are moving to California!

We will travel 3,042 miles and log at least 45 hours of driving. We’ll pass through the states of VA, NC, TN, AR, OK, a bit of TX, NM, AZ and finally, California.
There’s a big swath of country I’ve never seen, and I am looking forward to discovering more of America.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE FUN!!

What fun! Hope you take it slow & get to enjoy the sights along the way. Be sure to stop by Old Town when you get to Albuquerque–lots of nice restaurants there, and check out the art scene. Is Josephine selling her house in MD or already sold it?
Patrise, Josephine,
Have FUN, you’ll be SOOOO happy you’ll have done this! You’ll be so close to Santa Fe and Taos (NM), consider stopping! Of course, if everybody sends in suggestions, you’ll be on the road for a long, long time!
My sister and I traveled across country last May, it was the best thing we ever did! So many nice memories …
Be safe and enjoy, Val
enjoy Patrise! my 2c, the more national parks, the better. And if you aren’t sick of driving when you make CA, the coast route up highway 1 between San Luis Obispo and Monterrey is pretty great…
Good advice, Scott!
I am planning a visit to SLO, with an eye to consider living there. And, national parks, YAY!
